The NCI School of Computing is one of the largest schools in Ireland and sits in the centre point of Dublin which is known as the Silicon Valley of Europe. The university offers a range of Certificate, Higher Diploma, Foundation and Pre-Masters courses that are internationally recognised and industry focused.

Key responsibilities:
  • Identification of school networks across India

  • Responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with schools and colleges in key regions
  • Will work to attract applications from high quality students from a diverse range of backgrounds and to support NCI’s widening participation agenda
  • Effective relationship management with school counsellors across India
  • Conducting training sessions/workshops/seminars for school counsellors
  • Presenting National college of Ireland across seminars/events/fairs focused on Undergraduate recruitment
  • Organizing webinars with faculties to promote courses from National College of Ireland either with Schools or Agent network.
  • Responsible for identifying collaboration opportunities with Indian Universities
  • Responsible for driving recruitment numbers in Undergraduate programs through twinning programs, study abroad, joint degrees
  • Managing faculty relationship for mapping of joint programs, evaluations, research modules and knowledge transfer
  • Liaising with partnership cells of Indian colleges for a seamless partnership
  • Managing relationships with study abroad agents and counsellors and offering them support to recruit UG applicants for National College of Ireland
  • Contributes to the development and update of online and offline marketing tools, including social media and presence on relevant online media; and will also contribute in the development of printed materials to support the University’s international recruitment activities
  • Liaises with the Alumni Office to develop a system for best utilizing local alumni networks focusing on recruitment activities
  • Provides market insights, trends and makes recommendations to support informed decision making for the development of the marketing strategies

Person Specification:
  • Knowledge of the higher education industry, with knowledge of the Ireland higher education system desirable
  • Knowledge of the Indian secondary education systems
  • Experience in event planning or program administration
  • Experience presenting and public speaking
  • Experience working in student or customer facing roles
  • Willingness and ability to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to work off-hours to accommodate time zones covered by the Global Engagement Office
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (across North America and abroad)
  • Experience of working with international clients
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in the use of all MS office applications
  • Prior experience working within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
