Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardised test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enrol in English-speaking universities. The test is accepted by more than 11,000 universities and other institutions in over 150 countries. TOEFL is one of the major English-language tests globally.TOEFL is a trademark of (ETS), a private non-profit organization, which designs and administers the tests.
The Role:

The role will be sitting with the TOEFL Project managed and delivered by OneStep Global. The key objective of the role will be to drive more test registrations for TOEFL through developing and managing the market ambassador network in the below-mentioned region for TOEFL.

Key responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the design and delivery of the market plans and strategies to maximise test registrations from the assigned territory.
  • The incumbent will work closely with the existing agent network and will maintain the relationship on the ground and will sign-up new agents across the region, to drive more registrations
  • Carry out the day-to-day activity – like meeting agents, training counsellors, training the trainers and conduct student sessions.
  • Imparting product training and new developments of the test to the stakeholders through webinars, events, sessions and in person meets
  • The incumbent will attend education fairs and recruitment events across West India to meet and advise prospective students
  • The incumbent will work closely with colleagues across other regions and marketing functions for a seamless delivery of the project
  • Organise and support recruitment-focused events like webinars on TOEFL, seminars on studying abroad etc.
  • Organising and supporting agent workshops, recruitment events with counsellors
  • Support and implement centralised promotional campaigns on ground
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor landscaping
Person Specification:
  • Educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent,
  • Demonstrable (3+ years) experience in education industry (preferred)/any service industry
  • Demonstrable (3+ years) experience in transactional/consultative sales (any industry)
  • Capabilities to develop, engage and maintain relationships on ground
  • Ability to manage large accounts (like dealerships/ resellers etc.)
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understand the importance of service delivery and show a willingness to work with colleagues
  • Highly developed written and oral communication and presentation skills, including use of digital and social media for business purposes
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible working approach by working unsocial hours, weekends, or occasional public holidays when required
  • Ability to undertake business-related travel in market on an unrestricted basis (indicative 20 weeks per year)
  • Self-starter, team player, honest and committed to the growth of the brand
